DELIVERY INFORMATION and costs

Our Gift boxes have been designed to ensure that your baby tree arrives in good condition. Please help us by noting our delivery information.
 

Dispatch Time Frames

If we receive your order by 12pm (midday NZT) we will dispatch your order the same day Monday – Friday (except Public Holidays).

If we have any problems with dispatching your order within our stated timeframes, we will contact you as soon as possible via email.

Weekend orders will be dispatched on Monday (providing this is not a Public Holiday)

If you want your gift to be delivered on a specific day, please select your preferred delivery date in the 'preferred delivery date' box at checkout and we will endeavor to ensure delivery as requested

Product delivery

• Gifts are delivered Monday - Friday (except Public Holidays)
• We are able to Track and Trace your gift so if for any reason it does not arrive when expected, let us know and we will follow up.
• A redelivery cost will be charged if the delivery information provided is incorrect
• All courier deliveries are 'signature required' so we recommend that if no one is going to be home, please provide a work address. If there is no one at the delivery address the courier will leave a card so that your recipient can phone and arrange re-delivery or uplifting. Please state in the special instruction box if the gift will be safe to leave when no one is home.
• Delivery is made to physical addresses only and will not be made to post office boxes or private bags. 
   

Delivery timeframes

• North Island delivery - next working day (Mon - Fri) delivery
• South Island delivery - 2-3 working days delivery
• Rural areas please allow an additional 2-3 working days - some areas are deemed Rural delivery by courier companies even though the address may not be RD 
• Saturday delivery will only be made if specifically requested

 PLEASE NOTE: Delivery timeframes assume the order is received before 12 noon (NZT) Mon-Fri and does not require additional delivery/processing time. The above delivery times may be affected by conditions/events outside our control. While Trees Please! will do everything possible to ensure deliveries arrive when requested, a delayed delivery does not constitute a reason to cancel an order, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage ensuing from a late or missing delivery.
 

Rural Deliveries

If delivery is to a rural area please provide (a) recipient’s telephone number (b) full delivery details (ie '2km up Tramway Road on the right-hand side—house with green roof down long driveway').

Deliveries may be left with a local agent for collection (at a convenient pick-up point such as the local garage) your recipient will be advised by card.

Seed Gifts

Packets of Seeds will be sent by mail. Standard post for deliveries in NZ and International Air for those sent overseas. Please allow 4 – 10 days for delivery.

The cost for deliveries of seed packets outside New Zealand is based upon the destination and the weight of the product. This will be advised at the time of the order. 

NZ law requires custom documentation is attached to all international packages including a description of the goods and cost. We complete this documentation, but we have no control over any Customs or import charges levied or items which may not be allowed in other countries, these additional charges or matters are the recipient's responsibility. Please contact your local customs office for further information and check you can import the items being ordered.

With the exception of Pohutukawa seeds being sent to Australia, to the best of our knowledge seeds can be sent to most countries. 

Boxed Seed gifts for delivery within NZ will be couriered.

Delivery Cost

Cost of delivery is additonal to the cost of the gift. Delivery costs are outlined below and at checkout.

Standard delivery for all tree gifts & gift sets throughout NZ, includes Rural & Saturday delivery (where applicable): NZD$10.50

URGENT EXPRESS South Island Main Centres (delivery next day): NZD$25.00

Boxed Seed Gifts delivery within NZ: NZD$8.50

Seed Packets and Gift Voucher delivery: NZD$2.00  (Sent via post and not via courier).
